The Department of Computer & Information Science & Engineering (CISE) at the University of Florida maintained its place in the rankings for public institution computer engineering graduate schools.

According to the 2020 U.S. News & World Report list of best graduate schools, the computer engineering graduate program is ranked No. 16 among public institutions and moved up one spot to No. 28 nationally.
