Zhe Jiang, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Dr. Jiang’s research focuses on data mining; database, data science and informatics; interpretable AI; and machine learning. His lab’s mission is to design and develop accurate, scalable, and robust AI and machine learning algorithms and tools inspired by interdisciplinary applications (Earth sciences, agriculture, smart cities, biomedicine, and public health). He received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Minnesota in 2016 and his B.E. from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Before coming to UF, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Computer science at the University of Alabama. See Dr. Jiang’s profile.
