CISE Peer Mentor Policy:

CISE expects undergraduate student employees to learn basic learning and instruction concepts in order to help them be effective guides for their fellow students, the foundations of which are covered in the CIS 4715: CS Teaching & Learning course.

All students serving as peer mentors in the CISE department fulfill one of these requirements to begin employment:
1) Must have already completed CIS 4715, or
2) Must be registered for CIS 4715 for the first term of employment.

CIS 4715 can be taken for zero (0) or one (1) credit(s). To continue employment in future terms in CISE, students must pass the CIS 4715 course.
