Armisha wanted to continue with the mathematical theme she has been following throughout this course. This led her to think about the cliché math problem every high school student encounters involving the distance between two objects, using the equation: Distance = Rate * Time. Armisha has always thought that this question becomes more intuitive to students if they can think about the objects that are moving, so she knew that this would be perfect for an animation. Therefore, she first started this project by downloading all of her free images, the road and two cars, from Google. Once that was complete, Armisha resized her stage in Adobe Animate to be 800 by 400 pixels. She then imported all of her images and sized the road to fit her stage and the cars to fit the road as well. She also needed to invert one of her car images so they could drive towards one another and she turned all of her images into symbols for animation purposes. Instead of adding audio she decided to add text so the viewer can constantly see the equation for distance, the speed of each car, the distance between the cars, and the solution. When all of the text was added, she then added the animation to each car. However, once she animated the cars everything else was eliminated from her stage. To resolve this issue, she anchored the road image to her stage which caused the text to be fixed as well. Armisha then stretched the animation to last for 5 seconds and she placed it into a loop so the animation could be continuous.
