Syllabus: Chapter 17 (all sections), Chapter 18 (Sections 18.1, 18.2, 18.3.1, 18.3.2,
18.3.5, 18.3.6), Chapter 19 (Sections 19.1, 19.2), Chapter 20 (Sections 20.1,
20.2.1-20.2.4), Chapter 21 (Section 21.1), Chapter 22 (Section 22.1)
All exams are CLOSED BOOK. You must bring your own supply of paper to write the
answers. The answer to each question is to begin on a new sheet. When you are
done, you will need to put the answer to each question on a different stack.
First Exam ... MAEB 211, MCCB G086 and FLG 220, Sept. 30, Periods E2 and E3.
Syllabus: Chapters 1 through 9 of text.
Chapters 1 through 4 are included only to the extent that they support
the material covered in Chapters 5 through 9. So, for example, you must
know how to analyze the complexity of a program and how to measure its
run time; you must know how to write a recursive method.
Syllabus: Sections 10.1-10.4, 11.1-11.3, 11.5, 11.6, 12.1-12.8, 12.9.2, 13.1-13.5, 13.6.1,
13.6.2, 14.1-14.4, 15.1-15.5, 16.1
Chapters 1 through 9 are included only to the extent that they support
the material covered in Chapters 10 through 16. For example, you must know how
to use a chain or stack to solve a problem.
Notes:
There is no alternative schedule for the final exam.
