Mobile Computing & Networking Research
The Mobile and Pervasive Computing Lab is focused on systems research and experimental aspects of Mobile Computing, emphasizing Mobile Computing Models, Mobile Data Access, Mobile Networking, and Power-Aware Mobile Computing. Individual projects are listed below.
Mobile Networking ❯ CAD-HOC: A Mobility Benchmarking Tool
Overview
CAD-HOC is a cousin tool to networks simulator (ns). CAD-HOC addresses the potential problem of using unrealistic scenarios in evaluating the behavior or ad-hoc routing protocols, and presents a solution. CAD-HOC incorporates an extensive GUI to allow the researcher (ns user ) to generate and capture any "real-life" situation into mobility scenarios and benchmarks.
